Olaf Trellenberg was ordained deacon on 28th June.
Our former parishoner, hall caretaker, and choirman Olaf Trellenberg was ordained deacon by Bishop Nicholas in Blackburn Cathedral on June 28th. A number of people from the parish went to support him and it was a great joy to be with Olaf with his wife Doris and young son Theo on this happy occasion. Since leaving St Annes two years ago Olaf has been in training at Ridley House In Cambridge. Olaf will now "serve his title" at St Paul, Scotforth in Lancaster and, all being well, he should be priested in twelve months time. We shall look forward to welcoming Olaf, Doris and Theo back for a visit to St Annes in the not-too-distant future.
